They are not overpowered. You simply don't have the correct build to beat them.

Lingering Curse {Elite} -
Sacrifice 10% of maximum health. Target foe loses all enchantments. For 8-18 seconds, target foe gains only half health from healing spells.

This is how you kill a war/mo.
If you're a necro, instead of using Lingering Curse, why not using Shadow of Fear + Enfeebling Blood? Both are AoE spells and cost less energy than LC.

It seems you'd have your attributes spread pretty damn thin if your using wilderness survival and swordsmanship and beast mastery and tactics

Course, if you aren't actually using anything but the first three, then you're making a mistake.

I'd drop beast mastery, if I were you, and go for points in swordsmanship, tactics, and survival. That way, you can do apply poison on your sword (for good fun ) or maybe set up some traps (except no dust trap without a focus) or bring in some rituals for whatever reason.

Don't try and use a bow if you're a warrior, because that's not your job, and you can't do it nearly as effectively as a ranger anyways.

Just my opinion, though

Someone has a bad build / strategy so they want a class combo nerfed? I pray there is never an official guild wars forum. Like another poster said if you want classes nerfed go back to WoW.

Problem is everyone is at low levels right about now...1 Healing Breeze and a careful orison or two is all it takes to render someone invulnerable to damage at Ascalon Arena. Try doing that against a Meteor Shower, fragility builds or Illusionary Weapons builds...its not going to happen is it. Heres the problem, nobody uses interrupts and nobody uses remove hexes in the arenas...its just not avaliable and probably not worth it even if it was. So yes it might well be that at anything less than 20 or in a disorganised match a warrior/monk might seem overpowered, this was why a lot of people complained about there being an arena in the first place. Though this isn't where the money's at...in 8v8 Guild Matches...i'd pick fighting a team of warrior monks over most teams.

Heres the trick for beating a caster in the arenas...works best on Elementalist flare spammers and there seems to be a lot of them...fair play, Flare does huge damage for a low level skill. It also works very well on monks and necromancers who rely on their magics to heal themselves. Warriors and Rangers don't work well for obvious reasons (no spells) and Mesmers don't work so good because they tend to be less spammy than ele/monk/necro.

Backfire + Conjure Phantasm

Monks will usually at this point bust out some Orisons, only to find that they're losing health. Elementalists usually kill themselves by flare spamming in the hopes that aura of restoration will cover it (or maybe they're just dim). This works well in arena because theres no hex removal and because people are just plain dim (you STOP flare spamming when you have backfire on you...its not hard...but people don't do it). This is an example of a great strat in disorganised, low level Arena that just isn't the same in a guild match. Same principle with Warrior/Monks. Exploit it while you can.

I don't play a warrior (I play Monk/Ele) but I think warriors are supposed to be kickass. I swear that as a heal spec monk I can totaly ignore that warrior/monk that is beating on me while I heal my team and myself. They either get tired of beating on me and go on to someone else, or they keep trying until my teamates come to help me out. Sure I have died to warriors but not nearly as often as I have died to some casters and rangers.
